What would you like to hear about on our show?

(First fanart!!)

So, we have two shows out there for you to listen to and we are so excited that you are, ya know, listening.  Our two main goals with Pop Culture Junkees are to have fun and create a podcast that you want to interact with like you would with your friends.

With that said, what would you like to hear us talk about?  What piques your interest in pop culture?  What fandom do you want to see us talk about, possibly learn about? While we have a lot of ideas of what WE want to talk about, we want you to feel included as well.

Drop us a comment. Or you can send an email to popculturejunkees@gmail.com and let us know.

Also, don't forget that we have a Patreon and there are fun perks to being a supporter of the show, with more to come.  Patreon Link

xoxo,

Stef and Mich

Meet Michelle

Michelle is a pop culture aficionado with multiple fandoms running through her veins.  She works in Corporate America during the day and dabbles in many ventures/hobbies at night. An avid reader, this bibliophile has a huge To Be Read stack and was the owner of Michelle’s Book Nook, a review blog, for a couple of years. She has since hung up her reviewer hat unless it is a special circumstance.  Through Michelle’s life she has run through several of the fandoms, the soapie fandom being one of the most rewarding (and challenging).  During those years, she ran the Official Message Board for actress Carolyn Hennesy, was part of an event planning team for General Hospital Fan Club Weekend events for actresses Lisa LoCicero, Kent King, and Minae Noji, and was part of numerous campaigns on behalf of the fans of Carolyn Hennesy to promote her. Currently, Michelle is serving as an officer for Geek Girl Brunch’s Phoenix chapter and as the amateur baker part of the duo on the Bake It or Fake It blog.  Her latest venture is as co-host of Pop Culture Junkees podcast with her friend, Stefanie.   She is a Ravenclaw, Rebel Scum, and all things sass and confetti.  Michelle is the owner of The Unapologetic Dreamer and keep an eye out because she has a few other surprises up her sleeve.  You can follow her on social media at Twitter and Instagram

Meet Stefanie

Stefanie Contreras is a marketing manager, fantasy writer, Hufflepuff, and one-half of the Pop Culture Junkees. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated with an M.S. in Communications from the University of Oregon. Growing up as an avid life-long reader and fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and YA, Stefanie self-published her first fantasy book, Untested, on Channillo in 2017 and released her second book, The Merry Maids, on Amazon in July 2019. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s probably plotting her next comicon cosplay or watching re-runs of Bob’s Burgers. Her favorite fandoms include WWE, Star Wars, X-Men, The Infernal Devices, Wonder Woman, and Coffee. Follow Stef @latinageekgirl on Instagram and Twitter.
